Made Floral
Made Floral is a floral design company owned by Martha DeFlorio with a studio location in Norwalk, Connecticut.
Martha began her work as a student in floral design in 2010 with Orly Khon Floral, a floral design studio in Boston. She advanced as the company’s lead floral designer for weddings and events and helped the company grow from a floral design studio to the in-house floral and plant boutique for Restoration Hardware’s flagship store in the heart of Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood.
In 2014, Martha moved to Detroit and started Made Floral. Since then, she has designed the florals for weddings and events at some of Michigan's most prominent venues like the Detroit Institute of Art, State Savings Bank, Cranbrook Gardens, Eastern Market, Michigan Central Station, among others. Martha operated a flower pop-up inside of the Shinola Midtown Detroit location from May 2016 to October 2018, servicing the city with “irresistibly romantic bouquets”, thanks for the shoutout Goop!
Today, Martha focuses her time on weddings and events in both Detroit and the east coast. Over the last ten years, Martha has worked with Gucci, Forbes, Rocket Mortgage Classic PGA Tour, Shinola, Bedrock, and many wonderful couples on their weddings and events. Her work has been featured in Midwest Living, Martha Stewart Living, Martha Stewart Weddings, Hour Detroit, Bliss Celebrations, Metro Detroit Weddings, Detroit Home, Washington Post, and Flower House Detroit.
